Stable Cavity Locking

Active stabilization of Fabry-Perot cavities using high-bandwidth piezo stacks.

Cavity locking demands sub-nanometer resolution with exceptionally high stiffness to reject mechanical noise. The actuator must respond instantaneously to the servo error signal while resisting thermal drift and acoustic vibration.

ECDL & Frequency Combs

Grating feedback tuning with hysteresis compensation and compact footprints.

External Cavity Diode Lasers rely on precise grating rotation or linear translation to tune wavelength. Frequency combs demand stability across the repetition-rate range. Compact 5×5 mm cross-sections allow dense integration behind gratings.

Optical Delay Lines

Precision path length adjustment for ultrafast diagnostics.

Pump-probe spectroscopy and ultrafast diagnostics need femtosecond-scale control of optical path length. Moving retroreflector or stage assemblies calls for higher blocking force than a simple mirror — 900N-class subassemblies maintain stiffness under load.

Quantum Optics Alignment

UHV-compatible stability for ion traps and cold-atom experiments.

Ion-trap and cold-atom experiments require alignment stability without contaminating vacuum or introducing magnetic interference. UHV preparation, non-magnetic options, and bakeout-survivable assembly are treated as quote inputs.
